Terms of Service

By installing or using the AquaParams app (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

AquaParams is an aquarium water testing assistant. You take a photo of an API Master Test Kit test tube; we use AI to read the color and return an estimated parameter value (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH).

The app provides AI-estimated readings, not lab-grade results. Always confirm critical readings visually with the printed color chart from your test kit. For serious water issues, consult a qualified aquarist, veterinarian, or local fish store. We are not responsible for fish health outcomes.

Our AI is trained to read API Master Test Kit color charts. Accuracy varies based on lighting, camera quality, and image clarity. The app shows a confidence indicator — low-confidence readings should be retaken. We make no guarantee of accuracy.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract API credentials from the app
• Send malicious payloads to our backend API
• Spam our API with automated requests

AquaParams, its branding, design, and code belong to Muhammad Usama Memon. API Master Test Kit® is a trademark of Mars Fishcare / Spectrum Brands and AquaParams is not affiliated with them.

We do our best to keep the AI backend running 24/7. Occasional downtime may occur for maintenance. We are not liable for any consequences of service unavailability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AquaParams and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to loss of fish, coral, plants, or aquarium investment.

We may update these terms. Continued use after updates means you accept the new terms.
